From 22 to 24 October, new Amsterdam platform Motie transforms the former municipal service desks of Amsterdam City Hall into a temporary meeting place for music, art, light and the city’s creative night culture.
For three days, during Amsterdam Dance Event, the iconic Amsterdam City Hall becomes a home for the people, sounds and ideas that shape Amsterdam after dark.

Music, light, food and art come together in a setting that belongs to the city as much as it belongs to the people who inhabit it. A temporary and custom-built world where familiar faces meet new perspectives and where Amsterdam's creative nightculture is celebrated without translation.

Rooted in Amsterdam yet open to the world, Motie celebrates the city's creative spirit during its most international week. Curious by nature, uncompromising in taste, and welcoming to everyone willing to discover something new.

Samen met Motie Amsterdam biedt Tickets for Good 3 concerten van Motie ADE in de Stopera aan. Je kunt kiezen uit de volgende evenementen:

Helios x Young Marco (live) ft. Jonny Nash
22/10 20:00-21:00
Young Marco’s musical world stretches from his residencies at Trouw and De School to his adventurous label Safe Trip. Jonny Nash brings a spacious, melodic approach shaped by guitar, electronics and his label Melody As Truth.

At Motie ADE, Marco and Nash bring that shared musical understanding into an hour of live ambient music.

Helios x Oceanic (live)
23/10 20:00-21:00
Be the first to hear new, unreleased music by Oceanic. A former De School resident and a familiar name on Nous’klaer Audio, Oceanic moves between club music, ambient performance and improvisation.

For Motie, he brings curious melodies, surprising rhythms and new material into the intimate setting around Helios. An invitation to hear Oceanic's music take shape live.

Helios x Gizem Öz (live)
24/10 20:00-21:00
Composer, sound artist and DJ Gizem Öz creates layered soundscapes using field recordings, electroacoustic instruments and synthesizers. Her work explores how listening can deepen perception. Her performances at Waking Life, Garage Noord and Wildeburg connect that practice to the night.

Around Helios, her live ambient performance invites you to follow the details: a changing texture, a lingering sound, a reflection moving through the room.
